“Historic stained glass, which adorned the original pub for decades, with its beautiful, intricate glass was carefully removed and donated, ensuring it found a new home where its artistry and story could continue to be appreciated.”
Birch Group had the honor of deconstructing Emmett’s Public House in St. Paul, Minnesota, along with the legacy space of Dixie’s on Grand, carefully reclaiming materials that carry both history and craftsmanship. Every item was handled with precision to ensure maximum reuse and preservation of character.
Among the standout elements were rough-sawn hardwood flooring, solid wood beams, and custom bar tops and shelving, all salvaged intact and immediately rehomed to continue their life in new projects. One of the most unique pieces we reclaimed was the historic stained glass, which had adorned the original pub and Dixie’s for decades. This beautiful, intricate glass was carefully removed and donated, ensuring it found a new home where its artistry and story could continue to be appreciated.
Every item reclaimed reflects Birch Group’s mission of sustainability, circular economy, and preserving local history, keeping materials out of landfills and in the hands of people who value craftsmanship.
